ENSURING WOMEN’S REPRESENTATION IN SYRIA'S NEW GOVERNMENT
Syria deserves a future grounded on inclusion and justice
Syria deserves a future built on inclusion, justice, and truth. Truth and justice must be the basis for redress and reconciliation, paving the way for healing and unity.
To ensure that Syria’s new beginning aligns with the principles of human rights, international justice and broader inclusion and engagement with all citizens and civil society, we call on the transitional government to ensure women’s representation in cabinet-level ministerial roles across national and regional administrations.
