After the 1st Meeting of the Council on Participatory Democracy on the 19th and 20th of March, the coordination goes on.
In today’s meeting we discussed:
– how to strengthen the impact of “EU can do it: the petition to the European Parliament to address Covid-19, social, economic, and climate crisis” https://eumans.eu/eucandoit
In particular on this last item:
– involvement of European organisations – media and communication strategy
– letter to the President of the European Parliament and to the President of the Peti Commission to activate an emergency procedure for citizens petitions
– how to push the agenda for the confirmation of the initial phase of the Conference on the Future of Europe and the citizens involvement
– through citizens’participation and the elaboration of policy proposals
– how to coordinate different efforts and synergies in the next hours
