WHAT EUMANS DO

EUMANS ACT AT A PANEUROPEAN LEVEL ENGAGING CITIZENS IN DEMOCRATIC INITIATIVES AIMED TO ACHIEVE BY 2030 THE UN SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS.

EUMANS push forward Citizens Initiatives within the EU, addressing issues such as Rule of Law, Climate Change, Digital Rights, Science Freedom, Cannabis Legalisation, Political Rights.

In mid 2019 EUMANS helped submitting two European Citizens Initiatives - Stop Global Warming and Respect of the Rule of Law in Europe. Both are open to support.

EUMANS are engaged with individuals and NGOs’ own Initiatives in the perspective of a bottom-up wide reform of European Policies. EUMANS are supporting further ECIs - one aiming to stop tax exemption on Aviation Fuel and one to free Scientific Progress, as Crops Matter - sharing the goal of a sustainable ecological transition through innovation and scientific research.

By 2020 more European Initiatives will be developed on topics such as welfare, evaluation of public policy, privacy and social network interoperability, intensive farming, sexual reproductive health rights, civil artificial intelligence, citizens’ assembly, migrations. This has been happening working together with individuals, associations, political movements, scholars now gathering in Brussels on December 12-13 for EUMANS 2020. HOW CITIZENS CAN CHANGE EUROPE.

A EUMANS 2020 Initiatives Pack will be drafted through a participatory process able to push collaboration and ideas-gathering among European activists engaged toward common goals for a shared sustainable development.

EUMANS aim to take action in Europe mainly – but not only – through ECIs. Referenda, strategic litigation, civil disobedience, nonviolent initiatives are also in EUMANS toolbox.

EUMANS MEETINGS ARE OPEN AND PUBLIC.
INDIVIDUALS AND ORGANISATIONS ARE WELCOME TO JOIN AND TAKE ACTION.
